As well as being rather stunning to look at, they taste mighty fine, too – which is not surprising given the cocktail of flavours they pack in.

This high-summer take on the classic flavour combo of figs, natural yoghurt and honey is given an extra kick with the welcome addition of fragrant thyme and sweet, spicy nutmeg and clove.

What you’ll need:

  • Greek yoghurt
  • Honey
  • Figs, sliced thin
  • Thyme, chopped
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of clove

Of course, one way to ensure your fig fix is always taken care of is to invest in your own fig tree.
