Japanese Hydrangea temple

In Japan, one of the countries where the Hydrangea originally comes from, you can find the Meigetsu-in Temple in Kamakura. This temple is also known as the Hydrangea temple. This isn’t so strange considering that during the rainy season in June, the area surrounding the temple turns into a blue flower sea of ball shaped Hydrangeas.
