Mother-in-law’s tongue, Houseplant of the month of August, is a really easy plant. Reward its easy and positive attitude with a hint of glamour. This do-it-yourself tip with the Mother-in-law’s tongue in the leading role, will give your plant a sparkly edge and yourself an even better view, and just like the plant, this DIY tip is far from difficult.
This is what you need:
Small Mother-in-law’s tongue plants
The same amount of stone pots
Copper foil (you can buy these from an art shop)
Copper powder (you can also buy this from an art shop)
This is how you make it
Cover the top edge of the plant pots with glue. Don’t forget the inside edge of the pots.
Stick a sheet of foil very carefully onto the edge of the pot.
Place the plants in the pots and apply a coat of copper powder and glue to the leaves. You only need to cover a few edges to get a cool effect. Place the Mother-in-law’s tongue plants together, for example on a nice tray, and let them sparkle exuberantly as a group.
