DIY Marble planters

These faux marble planters look un-can-nily expensive

Marble teamed with white minimalism makes for a fresh and modern look with a classic twist – which is why we have fallen in love with these marble and white planters.

Finished off with a metallic trim, these super-stylish planters look like the kind of thing you’d expect to find in an upmarket homewares store. Made from old tin cans and marble adhesive paper (you can pick up a roll from B&Q for a fiver), they are ridiculously easy to make and really do look as good as they do in this picture.

What you’ll need:

It's super simple to make these, simply wrap the paper around a pot, cut any excessive off and you’re done!

What to plant in them…

These are ideal containers for your favourite classic herbs, such as basil, rosemary and thyme. But they would also make a lovely fragrant addition to your kitchen windowsill, filled with lavender. Or why not fill with an array of succulents and arrange in a cluster on a side table or pop in a cascading climber and place at the edge of a living room shelf?
