DIY Magnet Narcissus Planters

Delight with daffs this St. David’s Day

Pay homage to the patron saint of Wales on St David’s Day (March 1) with the country’s national flower – the beautiful, sunny daffodil (narcissus). We love this quirky DIY display project from Martha Stewart on the Delineate Your Dwelling blog.

Old magnetic spice tins are transformed into pretty planters – and the best part is they’re magnetic, so you can mount your blooms on the wall or sit them on a shelf or counter top.

What you’ll need…

  • A few narcissi bulbs
  • Yellow craft paint
  • Decoupage matt finish
  • White Spray Paint
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Two Metal Spice Containers
  • Washi Tape
  • Magnets
  • Hot Glue
