Warming dark colours
These five-petalled Violas can be grown as annuals, biennials or perennials meaning the bright colours can be seen for one, two or many more years. Dark Violas can be matched with white Osteospermums for a striking effect or mixed with lilac Petunias for a more warming display.
Vibrant flowering plants
Bright reds and yellows can create a meditteranean feel in your outdoor space, particularly when placed in terracotta pots. Combine red Pelargoniums with red Verbenas for an intense look, or to add a splash of sunshine plant yellow and orange African Marigolds.
A green display
You don't need to feature colour in your container for it to have an impact. If you have a larger planter, then a Buxus is always a solid choice. The topiary box plant can be shaped however you wish meaning your container garden can look different every year.
