La Morena by SHIFT

Plant your succulents and more colourful plants in concrete!

Picking the right pot for your outdoor plants is a big decision to make. You need a pot that will look good in any weather, but most importantly you want a pot that will show off all the beauty of your plant.

Terracotta pots certainly have their charms, but this concrete and wooden design from Mexican designers SHIFT has really caught our eye.

The pot design

The designers of the pots wanted to combine wood and concrete in one pot. The organic wooden frame and concrete cast have been brought together to make the attractive final product. This minimalist design means that your plant can be the true attraction on your patio, balcony or terrace!

What to plant?

Whilst the concrete matches the harshness of a succulent, the colours of a saintpaulia or even a more traditional petunia would be a great contrast! This geranium adds a brightness to another concrete pot and your eyes are immediately drawn to the plant's colourful flowers.
