Two plant-inspired designs to inspire your home furnishings

Filling a home with plants creates a joyous energy in any room, but have you ever considered featuring plants as part of the furniture? Swedish designer Louise Hederström combines contemporary design with living plants in two stylish products.

Green Divider

This graphic wall is made from lacquered steel and a plastic container and can house a variety of small plants. The design allows for the plants to grow up the divider creating a green barrier for homes and offices. It's a really simple way to incorporate greenery into a professional looking room. The divider comes empty and different small plants will create different looks. How about planting a Heartleaf or an Arrowhead Vine to create a fuller green look?

Willow

Taking inspiration from the willow tree, this multi-purpose planter can have flowering plants coming out from three angles, or can have a wooden disc placed on top of it to create a sleek seat. This is a very creative way of adding a practicality to plants and is the perfect place to sit back, relax and read a book.
