Don’t miss the RHS London Harvest Festival Show

Celebrate autumn in all its glory

What better way to herald the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness than with a visit to the RHS London Harvest Festival Show, where growers from around the country will be bringing the cream of their crops to celebrate the best of autumn’s fruit and vegetables.

Shop from a huge selection of fresh produce, seek expert advice from some of the UK’s leading growers or enter your own prize fruit and vegetables in the esteemed RHS autumn vegetable growing competition.

Learn from the best

Whether you’re a novice dabbling with your first back-yard vegetable patch or an experienced allotment gardener with some seasonal queries and questions, there will be some of the countries leading on hand with a wealth of information on growing, harvesting and using garden produce.

Shop fresh from the land

If your own crop hasn’t been as bumper as you’d hoped, stock up on fresh seasonal spoils with everything from apples and chillis to taste and buy. There will also be Wisley experts available to help you identify your fruit.

Enter the vegetable competition

RHS fruit and vegetable competitions are to growers what Bake Off is to cake-making enthusiasts. So if you have a pumpkin big enough to transport Cinders home from the ball – or any other prize-worthy autumn veg growing on your allotment, drag them along for a chance to win this year’s RHS Giant Pumpkin and Autumn Fruit and Vegetable competition. And if you don’t, simply come and marvel at this year’s awe-inspiring entries.

Displays

This year’s creative, innovative and unusual displays include vegetable chandeliers from Pennard Plants, and the London and Overseas area of NAFAS will be providing a hanging backdrop to the show.

New exhibitors to the show include: Seedlip’s distilled non-alcoholic spirits; The Orchard Project, with a display on the work they do restoring and planting orchards across London; Capital Growth, London’s largest food-growing network, helping everyone growing food in London; Priestland Birch and Riverford Organics

Venue: RHS Lindley Hall, London
